Cape Elizabeth Land Trust (2022)

The Cape Elizabeth Land Trust permanently conserves and provides stewardship for lands cherished by the community – from shore lands to marshes, from farmlands to woodlands – for the education, use and enjoyment of this and future generations. They have hired me to help their board and senior staff with strategic planning.

Dragon Cement (2021)

To foster good relations and communications with their neighbors, Dragon Cement of Thomaston hires me to facilitate regular meetings of their Community Advisory Panel made up of local government, nonprofit, and business leaders.

Greater Portland Council of Governments (2022)

The Greater Portland Council of Governments helps cities and towns do together what they can’t do alone. They are a regional coalition of municipal governments, and very good at what they do. As in the past, I’m working with GPCOG to lead professional development training for the staff.

Institute for Family-Owned Business (2022)

The Institute for Family-Owned Business is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization committed to supporting, strengthening and empowering family-owned businesses throughout the state of Maine. The have hired me to run a strategic planning retreat with their board.

Maine Audubon (2021)

Maine Audubon is one of the largest and most effective conservation organizations in Maine. I’m working with the Board of Trustees and Leadership Staff to help them develop a long term visions and 10-year strategic plan.

Maine Board of Dental Practice (2022)

The Maine Board of Dental Practice is a state regulatory agency and was established to protect the public through the regulation of individuals practicing in the dental profession. The Board has hired me to help them with strategic planning.

Maine Coast Sea Vegetables (2021)

As in the past, Maine Coast Sea Vegetables is hiring me to help them with strategic planning.

An employee-owned company in Hancock, Maine, they harvest wild seaweed and other sea vegetables from the North Atlantic, process it in Hancock, and ship it all over New England and North America. They have been a long-time model for sustainable business practice.

Maine Highlands Working Communities Challenge (2021)

A coalition of nonprofits and municipal governments in the Piscataquis County region of Maine (northwest of Bangor) has received a Working Communities Challenge Grant from the Boston Federal Reserve Bank to understand how persistent and growing poverty impacts the region and to develop collaborative and inclusive strategies for everyone in the community to thrive.  I have been hired to facilitate meetings of the Leadership Team.

Natural Resources Council of Maine (2022)

The Natural Resources Council of Maine (NRCM) is a nonprofit membership organization protecting, restoring, and conserving Maine’s environment, now and for future generations. They have hired me to work with the board and staff on a new outreach initiative.

Norway, Maine (2022)

The Town of Norway, Maine has hired me to run a multi-phase process to help the Town develop a Vision for its future, as a foundation for upcoming comprehensive planning.

Orono, Maine (2022)

The Town of Orono, Maine has hired me to plan and facilitate a pair of workshops for the Town Council.

Railroad Square, Yarmouth (2021)

Railroad Square is a vibrant mixed use neighborhood proposed for the heart of a revitalized Yarmouth Village. Before the Planning Board process, the property owners and project partners want to have a public meeting to explain the project, answer questions, and address concerns. They have hired me to run the public meeting.

Sanford, Maine (2022)

The City of Sandford, Maine has hired me to plan and facilitate a workshop for the City Council.

York, Maine (2021)

I have been hired by the Town of York, Maine to facilitate the establishment of a 10-year plan for Fire Service Delivery. Did you know that York currently has two fire departments? And two very active call companies?
