Bowdoin College McKeen Center for Common Good (2021)

Bowdoin College has hired Craig to offer a three-part training series to students on the topics of how to listen when you disagree and how to facilitate hard conversations.

Gardiner City Council (2021)

As they have in the past, the Gardiner City Council hired us to facilitate a workshop to take stock of recent accomplishments, update Council interaction guidelines, and establish Council goals for the coming year. Gardiner is a city of about 6,000 on the banks of the Kennebec River in Maine.

Greater Portland Council of Governments – Chairs in a Circle (2021)

The Greater Portland Council of Governments (GPCOG) is a nonprofit organization that assists with cooperative services such as bulk purchasing, transportation planning, data, mapping, and economic and community development. GPCOG’s members include 26 municipalities from Casco Bay to western Cumberland County, along with the County itself and other affiliate organizations. As in the past, Craig has been hired to facilitate a session of town and city council chairs and vice chairs to share best practices and lessons with each other related to municipal budgeting in the time of COVID.

Growing To Give (2021)

Growing To Give is a nonprofit organization located at Scattergood Farm in Brunswick. They grows tons (literally) of high quality organic food that they get into the hands of people in need through food pantries and soup kitchens. Craig is helping them with Board Development.

NH LAKES (2021)

NH LAKES promotes clean water policies and responsible use of New Hampshire’s lakes. After hiring Craig several years ago to help them develop a strategic plan, they have hired us again to come back and help them revise their strategic goals.

South Portland Police Services Review Working Group (2020-21)

The South Portland City Council has established a multi-stakeholder working group to review how the Police Department serves the community and responds to calls. They will be making recommendations to the City Council. Craig has been selected to facilitate the Working Group and prepare the report of recommendations. Youth and Family Outreach (2021)

Youth and Family Outreach creates opportunities that support learning and enhance the quality of life for children, teens, and families in Greater Portland. Their center is at the corner Preble and Cumberland streets in Portland. Similar to years past, Craig has been hired to facilitate a Board Retreat, although this year it will be a series of Zoom meetings.
